O.K., I have a challenge for you Urdu speaking poets...

I have a poem I'd like to translate into Urdu, so my SO might get the sense of it. It's originally in Spanish, but have an English translation. Anyone want to take a stab at getting the tone of it into Urdu??

Here's the English:

I don't love you as if you were a rose of salt, topaz

or arrow of carnations that propagate fire:

I love you as one loves certain obscure things,

secretly, between the shadow and the soul.

I love you as the plant that doesn't bloom but carries

the light of those flowers, hidden, within itself,

and thanks to your love that tight aroma that arose

from the earth lives dimly in my body.

I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where,

I love you directly without problems or pride:

I love you like this because I don't know any other way to love,

except in this form where I am not nor are you,

so close that your hand upon my chest is mine,

so close that your eyes close with my dreams.

And in spanish...

No te amo como si fueras rosa de sal, topacio

o flecha de claveles que propagan el fuego:

te amo como se aman ciertas cosas oscuras,

secretamente, entre la sombra y el alma.

Te amo como la planta que no florece y lleva

dentro de si, escondida, la lux de aquellas flores,

chhupa hua meri rooh aor mere saaye kay beech

mera pyaar woh shajar hai, jo khilay nahi par hamesha qaim rahe

jese bin khilay phoolon ki mehak, bus un kay he under chhupee

aor tumhare pyar ka bhee shukriya, jo ik tez khushboo ban kay.....

mere jism main basa hai, aor mujhay mehka raha hai

mera pyar kab, kahan aor kese ki deewaron main qaid nahi hai

mera pyaar tau bohot sada hai, har banawat say paak

mera pyaar aesa hai, kioon kay yeh mera pyar hai

iss pyaar main bus main hoon aor tum ho

hum itna qareeb hain kay mere seenay pay tumhara haath mujhay apna hee lagta hai

I don't think he is implying that it is gross or anything. I think he means that many people in India don't eat cow meat because cows are considered sacred. But I don't think it's all over India.

I was watching discovery- times< taboo foods > . they had a programm where Indians/and Pakistanis

were eating a very special dish - dont ask me the name if it but in english it was

Goat Fetus! I recorded this just for pure sport I suppose. I asked javed about this he said its a very difficult dish to eat. I asked javed did I eat that when I was in pakistan. he said of course I ate it. I think he was kidding me anyway this lady on TV was all excited about eating this mess.
