Finally I received the notifications that Linh and My's AOS case has been accepted. Waiting on the biometrics letter now.

We had to apply three times. Kept getting kicked back because guvmint said I was not sending in enough money with each packet. Twice I had to send in their own instructions with the forms to show that indeed I was sending the correct amounts for each application. This last time I sent one copy of the I485 Instructions on each form in the packets and one on each I797 stating I hadn't sent enough money. There were ALOT of instruction letters.

So here's to lifes little victories.

Take that guvmint.

** moving from "Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from Family Based Visas" to "Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports" as the prior forum is for questions and this one is for updates/progress**

Hey Decker! Congrats! I know the old saying is "all good things coem to an end" but my version is "all good things come to a beginning" haha.

Hard to belive how fast the time flies. Already its been over 8 weeks since we arrived from Vietnam. I'm leaving work early today so we can go get our marriage liscence! 1st round of vaccinations are done and Doan has to go back in a week to get some more. Looks like we'll be sending in the next round of paperwork in April.

Best Wishes to you up there - hope all is well!
