my fiance is usa citizen and i am canadian citizen, we are planning on getting married in usa, but we didnt know tht he had to apply for me for the fiance visa, also i can just enter on visitor base, would there be a problem? please help..

If when you enter, the border officer learns that your intention is to marry and remain, then yes it will be a problem.

Wow this question is comming up alot lately.

Basically it all boils down to INTENT.

what is the intent of the visit, the aim or the purpose of the visit. that is the one thing that will determine if it is an issue or not. it is also the cbp's job to find out the true intent of every person and assume it is for immigration until proven otherwise.

just by asking this question you have already shown there *may* be intent, and this is punishable by a ban fine etc.
