Phhhht. I can top that. I stay home and still make enough money that Alla can raise the GNP of Vermont AND Quebec! If I worked full time, we would just be way too wealthy. Wouldn't even be fair.

Alla has adapted to shopping also. She is a member of all these clubs that send her coupons and other honors which have been bestowed on her (She was very flattered when the "Micheal's" Crafts store offfered her a "membership" just 4 days after she arrived! ) Can you imagine? She even said "Wow, I have been in your country only 4 days and you will make me a MEMBER!" Yes and every month we will send you this advertising paper! "Really!!!??? To my house?" Yes, to your house. "WOW! Gary, come here, this woman will make me a member of the Micheal's club and she doesn't even know me!"

The first time she was in Lowe's is still the classic. She turned the corner in the toilet aisle and just burst out laughing. How dumb must Americans be to need SOOOOO many kinds of toilets! "And that is just the in stock models, Alla, you can order thousands more from the catalogs"

I'm still trying to get this through to my wife. She doesn't need to worry about missing those 2-3 day sales because there will always be another one in a week or two!!! I swear for several months now, she hasn't missed a single one!

Thank goodness she feels comfortable driving herself now, because she likes to spend like 5-6 hours in a single store! No joke! She says she likes to know the prices on just about every item! Oh man, if I can ever get her on the Price is Right we are so going to clean up!!!

Ayup. Anna would spend about the same amount of time. They need more seats with cushions around the dressing rooms! Maybe a big screen TV and beer stand too... Though I'd probably be ripped by the time she was finished. "Ok, ready to go!" thash a really prerry dresh.

Lol...that's exactly what I used to do...hang out in chairs by the dressing rooms...I brought an iPod with me so I could play some games while waiting. But a beer stand would definately have even better. =)

OMG! Alla is the same. They usually turn off all the lights to get here out of the store when they close! No joke.
