We just filed the DS-3032 for my husband (the beneficiary) via e-mail and snail mail. Do we also need to file a separate DS-3032 for my step-son, who is only 13 years old? I filed separate I-130 Petitions for them, but was only required to pay the $70 processing fee once (for both beneficiaries). If we do need to file a separate DS-3032, then my husband would sign it for my step-son, right?

I think because he is a minor, his father would basically default to his care, and therefore his immigration. The I-864 is concerning you, not them, that's why you only have to pay it once. Maybe someone else knows for sure....

OK, thanks guys. I didn't even think about the $70 fee being for my I-864 Affidavit of Support, and that it does not conincide with the number of Petitions filed or DS-3032's needed. Yes, these are separate tracks at NVC, because I file the I-864 for myself, and the DS-3032 is for each beneficiary. (duh) by the way, the DS-3032 that we filed by e-mail, which included a scanned version of the hardcopy signature, was accepted the following day. What a pleasant surprise! Thanks again to all VJ members.
