This is not an interview, it's an appointment to take your fingerprints, picture and other info as hair color, height, weight etc.

If you're female and have filed your AOS application using your married name, bring your marriage certificate along :)

Of course you also need to take the biometrics appointment letter.

That's not an interview. :P

Your fingerprints will be taken.

Bring a valid ID like your passport together with the biometrics appointment letter. You may also bring your marriage certificate and birth certificate. They are not required but you might want to take them just in case... ;)

Hi Guys

I have received a letter from USCIS to attend for my biometric interview.

can someone tell me what other than my Passport(photo ID) i need to take?

Also getting this interview, what does this actualy mean??

thanks in advance

It's called an "interview" because they're asking questions and you're answering. It's not actually something you're judged on, it's just an appointment to get info from you such as those mentioned above.

The appointment letter

Your passport

They will just take fingerprints.

You'll have to leave your electronic stuff in the car (cell phone, etc.)

You will have to fill out a form when you arrive.

Yes, Kara can come with you, if she wants.

Good luck! When is it?

Oh, and yes... From now on whenever you turn in paperwork (removal of conditions and citizenship, if you choose), you'll be required to provide biometrics. They use it to ensure your identity.

Quick question::

Is there a fee for the Biometrics Appointment? Should I bring along cash or a cheque?

The fee for it you paid with the AOS fee, no need to bring anything other than what's listed above :D
