Drudge drives the national discussion. All the talking heads look to him to see what is relevant to talk and write about. Sad.

Poor Drudge is crying all the way to the bank. Makes a cool $Million+ /Yr. on his old school website.

He did kinda start it, the whole, "Have to get it out there before the story cools" kinda journalism. But with Google, and a few other feeds, he is beginning to become irrelevant as well. Surprisingly, many local sources can now get the story out before it goes viral, as the national desks are slowly being closed by the networks.

He just scans the wires, and puts what he thinks is important, all in one place, without the editorial comments. He just posts the links, he doesn't write the material.

Now, we can find sources from WND to TP, that do nothing but editorialize, yet call themselves "journalists".
