i spoke to the lady at uscis and she said they have sent me the letter with instructions now i am waiting for it and update you with it. i am all confused and dipressed. uscis is nightmare

You're 100% correct that USCIS is nightmare. I am going through the same situation here. BTW what is that instructions for that USCIS sent you rajalucy?

i have not received the letter. also i called my congressmans office about my case they said they are waiting for the response. its about a month that cong mans office has my case yet they are telling me to wait and she also said it might be lost and we have to reconstruct the case but she is waiting for the answer and they are not working with same peoples that we call at centers.

well the letter says, we have mailed you approvel letter on april 5th 2010. for more information go to your local field office with infopass.

this is a joke uscis is a joke and there costomer service is a ****.

i can not belive after 30 days i have this responce.

This is the extreme height of rediculousness. USCIS is playing with people's life. They shouldn't forget that Immigration benefit can change people's life. I understand how you feel rajalucy.

I think now you have to call/write to LOS office about what USICIS and NVC say about your case. Congressman and Senators sometimes seem useless. You need to make LOS offfice to forward your file to NVC.

Recently I was touched on 07/20 and 07/21. I believe they are working on backgroud check etc.

Can anybody tell me how long it might take I-130 to approve after the first touch? My PD is Dec. 2006.

now i called uscis and spoke to lady she said you can not put another inquiry till next month 15august.

then i told her how bad is uscis and how much this mean to me being apart from my family because uscis error. i told her just dont go home for 2 days and then feel how much u miss your loved ones. i waited my time now when my pd is curent and now i have to clean up someone else mistake with my emotions. then she change her tone and said to me wait and i will chek something

then she said there is one way you can make expedite request. then she fill the form and process like uscis error and told me to wait 5 days. lets see if my luck and her work can bring some good news.

It is a good sign to me that they have expedite requested on your case because of USCIS error. If your expedite request is approved, you will have your case processed very quickly.

Did you hear anything on your expedite request yet?

You know what I was approved yesterday ! Finally ! but the online status still says 'initial review'. I was expecting an email and text msg. alert, but didn't get anything. I just received an approval notice in the mail last night.

Finally !

I got an approval notice in the mail last night. Thank God. Thanks to nekomyu, sweetapple and all my VJ friends who guided me.

But the online status of my I-130 still showing 'Initial review' and I didn't receive any email or text msg. alert. Directly approval notice in the mail. woohooo. I am so happy.

Next, I'm waiting for NVC to receive my case and assign a case number.

We have no option than to wait and keep our faith alive. That's what I did. Remember my I-130 was approved after 43 months of filing date. yeah that's true.

I think NVC will receive your case soon. Pretty sooner than 30 days. I am also waiting for my case to get to the NVC. I don't know how long it's gonna take.
