Perriteyl, your case was completed on October 26. You should already have your interview date by now (actually a long ago). I came across someone whose case was completed on 12/06 (yesterday) and got the interview date for 01/10/11 the same day. He is also from Philippines.

hi malvika, i am also waiting for interview date. could that person be possibly pulling our legs? :no: i mean, to me, receiving an interview appt a day after a case has been completed seems a little far-fetched.

i think im still good since others whose cases were completed earlier than me havent received interview appts yet.

the case that you are talking about might be under K1.

the embassy is the one who schedule their interview and not NVC.

Perriteyl and Ekto,

The case I am talking about is IR1/CR1 not the K1. They filed I-130 not the I-129 for their spouse.

Visit the thread below "NVC October Filers". You will see users like 'Jon and Sol' and 'Atencio' in the last page. Look at their timeline they have recently had their case complete and already got their interview date. They both are from Philippines. Actually there are many more VJ users from Philippines in that thread. I am not trying to discourage you guys saying that you guys haven't gotton your interview date and others already did rather I am trying to help you out. Just keep in touch with those folks they might share some useful ideas/tips.

My update:- As you guys can see from my timeline that I had an artificial RFE regarding my missing photographs and I sent that on 11/26 NVC still hasn't matched that to my case file and I am waiting for it.

i know right perriteyl.same day completion and interview app date,lucky him ! mine was 9 weeks completed already--no interview schedule yet. :(

Yes, I used a document coversheet from the payment portal site. Actually I didn't even wait for NVC email for RFE information because I had talked to multiple operators in NVC and knew that it was my photographs that they were missing. If you find out what exactly is NVC requesting from you, you shouldn't really wait for RFE email. I knew about my RFE on 11/25 morning from NVC AVR and spoke with NVC operator next morning to confirm since NVC was closed on 11/25 (thanks giving day). I received RFE email (Checklist cover letter) on 11/27 and I mailed my RFE response on 11/26. Hope this helps !

after about a week and have before they got my RFE my case was done. It was case complete in the AVR and after 3-4 days SIF

Hello friends...

My NVC login failed on 24-Nov-2010 so I assume my case is completed...on same day I received email from NVC regarding my aus pcc remaining and how to apply...

In checklist letter it says you must submit requested information...but in same letter it mentions your pcc will be directly fwded to consulate after you apply for pcc...

So I am now little confuse...

1. Since my login is failed should I assume my case is completed at NVC and I don't have to submit my pcc to NVC and take pcc along with my interview?

2. Who arrange interview is it NVC or consulate?
