Hi Dear VJ friends, How are you all? I was out of VJ for few days !

What's going on homer4all, ekto, rajalucy, smile99, khanl, perriteyl, lynn12 and all !

My update:- Finally after two months and 10 days of approval, I received an email from USCIS that my case was sent to NVC yesterday. Hopefully NVC will receive it next week and assign me a case number.

My NVC Journey

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

11/08/10 - AOS entered into NVC system

11/16/10 - AOS was reviewed and OK'ed

11/18/10 - IV entered into NVC system

11/24/10 - IV package was reviewed and generated artificial RFE for missing photographs (which was actually submitted with the package)

11/26/10 - RFE response mailed out

11/29/10 - RFE response delivered to NVC

12/08/10 - RFE response entered into NVC system

12/15/10 - SIF :)

12/15/10 - Case Complete :)

01/03/11 - Interview date assigned for Feb 15 @ 1:30 PM

01/17/11 - Medical done ! Passed

01/25/11 - Re-scheduled the interview for Feb 1 @ 1:00 PM

02/01/11 - Interview @ 1:00 PM - Approved :)

02/03/11 - Visa picked up from USEM

I30 sent 01/2010 (can't remember the exact date)

NOA1 January 29,2010

NOA2 February 26,2010 ( yes it was that fast, still Thanking God for that)

Transferred to NVC

March 5,2010, i received my case # and no visa was available

June 4,2010 received AOS bill via email and Paid the same night

June 4,2010 received Visa Application Processing bill Via email and paid the same night

July 15,2010 mailed the AOS form and documents

August 27,2010 mailed DS-230 form and documents

September 30th I thought my case complete but received an RFE later on, still in the process

khanl I think once they receive your docs. it shouldn't take more than a week two put them in AVR. Don't worry brother, you will get your SIF pretty soon and you guys will be together for Xmas :)

man u made my day, you think my wife will get an interview for DECEMBER

You have very high chance of having your wife's interview in December. Case completion after receiving all the docs should not take more than a month these days, remember one of the VJ folks recently had her case complete within 15 days??? After that scheduling an interview all depends on how busy is your pakistani consulate. So you might wanna look at the time line of those folks who are from Pakistan.

Malvika hopefully you will receive your case# soon...

Try to call NVC AVR when possible and also see what operator says occassionaly..

AVR gets updated after 8-10 hours when your case# gets associated.. it happened with me..

My case# was available with operator but AVR updated it after 10 hours...

Still waiting for

DS-3032 (hard copy and my email confirmation..)..

AOS bill (hoping it will reach petitioner in 1-2 days)

IV bill (depends on DS-3032)

what news with other VJ's.. where you all stand with NVC??

1-Well i dont think it will matter, for the petioner, if it was the bebeficiary than it would, well thats what i think :bonk:

2-yeah call them up and tell them that i would like to ad me and my benificiary email address, and they will help ya out, thats what i did.

Hi,

Yeah that's what I thought.. but let's see when submitting petitioner docs in AOS packet I will include old cancelled passport and new passort..just in case...

I have added COA and my beneficiary email by calling operator last week itself but in my COA email to NVC I have mentioned

"All mail from the U.S. Department of State concerning my immigrant visa should be sent to the address above."

so was confused should I talk with operator again and mention my choice of communication which is via email...lets see what this week will bring...

started preparing AOS and DS-230 forms..

yeah ready for interview anytime as you guys....

the wait is torture so the earlier the better! hehe if people whose cases completed in september get a november interview, then most likely well be accomodated for december (assuming no delay cause of RFE) im keeping my fingers crossed!
