checks cashed but no NOA1 yet .. what does this mean?

Hello everyone,

We sent our I-130 and I-485 concurrently on 2/26/10, it was received the next day, and both checks cleared on 03/04/10. When should we get our NOA1? Also, how can we follow our progress online? I read on some other posts that people can follow their applications on the website but haven't figured out how to do this yet ...

There's a number printed on the back of your check. WACxxxxxxxxx EACxxxxxxxxx 3 letters followed by 9 numbers. You can check the USCIS site ( https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard.do ) using that number. It might work. Mine didn't. You never know.

Your check was only cashed on Thursday. If they sent the NOA1 on the same day, then it will come this week. I'd guess more like tomorrow or Wednesday.

You're in for a long wait. Months. Then movement and more waiting. It's worth it, though. Be patient. Good luck!

one thing I noticed with the USCIS, my notice dates were a week before the notices were ever sent out....sometimes they are slow to send you a notice back.
