Hi everyone, I just want to know if there are others here who have filed their K1 petition last February. I'm checking the uscis site everyday for updates because I am so excited and we've waited so long for this.. I just want to have an idea of how fast the processing is at the current time. Thanks! I would love to hear from you guys!! C:

04/22/2010 : Fiance received letter for interview instructions (yey!)

06/24-25/2010 : Medical & Vaccinations

07/14/2010 : Interview in Manila, Philippines PINK!!!!

08/13/2010 : Entry to U.S.

08/23/2010 : Applied for Social Security Number

08/31/2010 : Received Social Security Number

09/03/2010 : Civil Wedding <3

10/18/2010 : Obtained driver's license

I-485 and I-765

10/30/2010 : Mailed AOS/EAD Packet

11/05/2010 : Check cashed

11/05/2010 : NOA1 issued

11/10/2010 : NOA1 received via mail

12/01/2010 : received biometrics appointment for 12/23/2010

12/03/2010 : biometrics walk-in

01/04/2011 : received interview appointment for 01/18/2011

01/17/2011 : received email alert that EAD is in production

01/18/2011 : interview @11am. approved!

Which service center did you send your packet to? You should join your months group in the progress section of the k1 forum. It can be alot of support. Also you can check timelines by clicking on the immigration timelines link at the top of the page. I think CSC (california service center) they are processing cases submitted in Dec. While the VSC (vermont service center) is processing cases in Nov. Good luck .

11-23-2009 NOA-1 Hard copy received.
2-26-2010 NOA-2 on USCIS Dashboard.
03-02-2010 NVC recieved our petition.
03-08-2010 NOA-2 hard copy received
03-08-2010 Snail mail notice from NVC
03-14-2010 Called Manila Embassy and scheduled interview.
03-15-2010 Fiancee going to apply for JP police certificate(race to get before interview).
4-6-2010 Fiancee went for first day at St. Lukes medical (please no sputum test).
4-7-2010 Medical complete all was successful. :D
4-20-2010 Police certificate received.
04-29-2010 Approved!!!
05-5-2010 Visa delivered.
05-7-2010 Cfo seminar complete/sticker received.
05-24-2010 POE Detroit. :D
06-08-2010 Married. :D

Oh yeah, i didn't see the thread about the feb filers earlier that's why i posted this. heehee sorry. I submitted our packet to California Service Center. I'll be watching the other thread as well. Congratulations on your approval. Hope ours would go smooth too.. >.< I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

We are also waiting for NOA2... but I want to prepare for NVC. I read somewhere that a police clearance is needed...

My question goes to those who filed for their beneficiaries who are in Manila... will I need to get an NBI clearance here and send it to my hubby together with the other forms needed for NVC?

yes you will have to get an NBI clearance.. it is a requirement for the DS230 packet which will be submitted to NVC..

I lived 3 years in the United States with a working visa from 2005-2009. Do I need to obtain police clearance from over there too aside from the one from Manila?

This seems to be a related topic but will my Fiancee need to bring a POLICE CLEARANCE to her interview ? I know NBI clearance but for the life of me I cannot find anything stating anything about POLICE CLEARANCE...

if your fiancee stayed/work outside the philippines for more than 6 months then she need a police clearance but if she never been out of the country NBI clearance is fine
