does my fiancee need to personally go to the embassy to pick up the packet 3 and 4 or it would be sent to her in the mail?..If its not mailed, can someone pick it up on her behalf? thanks

From what others told me. For our Ghanian fiances they have to go pick it up. They get the packets same day along with the interview date. They should be notified when to pick it up- but some said they never got it... so give it a little bit and call the embassy!

Hi Thymbo,

I understand that your fiancee is unavailable at the moment to pick up the packet in person. I recommend that you call the embassy to find out their policy for substitutes. I have never heard of someone picking up a packet for a beneficiary but it may be possible.
