Phone Bill annotation

Hi everyone,

I'm planning on including the phone bills between my fiancee and I in my I-129F package. There are other phone numbers on the bills though. Is it all right to mark these out? If not, is it all right to use a highlighter to show her number instead? I couldn't find information about this in the guides or through the search engine. Thank you.

I highlighted mine. I'd worry that crossing out the other numbers would make them curious to see the full bills. No, sirree... No stupid curiosity-drived RFEs for me.

You know this doesn't have a known answer. It depends on the Consulate and even the adjudicating officer.

I asked on a forum specific to my Consulate if I could black out certain particularly personal parts of our emails and chat logs. One person answered that when that did that, the officer asked her to return with a set of documents unedited. Another person responded that they blacked out certain text and the interviewing officer was fine with that.

You do not know if it is not in the forms, the instructions or the web site for your Consulate.

Thanks for the kind responses. I guess I'll just submit it 'as-is' with my fiancee's phone numbers highlighted in yellow. It makes sense that blocking out the other numbers would cause some suspicion. Thanks again!
