Quick question. I called NVC and opted to listen to the AVR message. I was informed that they are missing some documents and they have mailed me a letter informing me with what's missing. Im anticipating this is a false RFE because I sent in my AOS packet two weeks ago and Im only about to send the DS230 packet next week.

Once I receive this letter, im assuming it will have its own barcode correct? If so, do I use that barcode instead of the other barcode generated by NVC when my I864 Bill has cleared?

It doesnt matter. Im sure it is a false RFE, meaning they are just wanting the DS230. You can send it with either cover sheet (either the generated one from the payment portal, or the one they send you) and you will be just fine.

I only know this because I got the same RFE last week. The AVR said "missing docs" two days later, I get the email with the "checklist cover letter" but I had already sent my DS230 the week prior. It simply hadnt been entered yet. As of Friday, it had been entered.
