Hey guys,

I was wondering if I could use FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) form for proof of ties to the US/intent to return to live??

(FAFSA is the form in the US that you have to fill out before you can get any grants, financial aid from gov/schools, or scholarships.)

On the FAFSA form is listed my address and the school in Chicago I will be going to.

ALSO arrived a letter from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission with my address in the US, saying basically that they received my FAFSA and are processing info for Fall semester 2010 for me.

Should I include this???

Is it a good idea even though it shows that I'm applying for aid for school? Do I (the USC petitioner) look like a burden? Will this help me or do the opposite of establishing ties/intent to return??

THANKS!
