Quit bashing Americans. Go back from where you came.

There is more than an acre of difference between "bashing" and "asking out of curiosity." Go back to where you got such opinion and visit here again once you feel better.

That's my Ball Sac we're talking about. Quit bashing my ball sac :P

Great Steve! I should encourage my husband to try something related to that. He is a good cook and maybe he can go beyond pizza and salads. We are now about to leave the house for Seafood City in Carson. Thank you for the suggestion once again. It'll be our first visit there. We went to "Bahay Natin" in Venice months ago. Not satisfactory.

Seafood City, yay! There's a Jollybee, Chow King and bakery there too. :)

I've eaten at all these establishments, and find little or nothing to cheer about.

ps, Is it ok if we post in the wrong forums, so you will have something to organize?

They're more nostalgic than anything. For really good Filipino restaurants in the LA area, I'd recommend Salo Salo. Delicious.

Manila Sunset is actually pretty good, but I hate the price tag...Like Filipino food is gourmet or something.

Your Ball Sac has nothing good to say. Use duct tape to keep it shut.

We spent a few hours in Seafood City yesterday. That was fun. My husband bought a dozen of Thai coconut. He likes sipping coconut so much and he found out that their coconuts were less than a dollar.

I love ice cream and I've only been getting Haagen Dazs since I arrived here. I grabbed ube and mango ice cream from Nestle.

Unluckily, they no longer sell the real calamansi fruit and there was no siling labuyo, just serrano peppers. I already learned on my own a long time ago that serranos are the best substitute for our siling labuyo, it's just that serranos are not good for homemade sauce unlike our sili.

Yes, I am not a fastfood fan but I requested my husband that we visit Jollibee. Before we left, we bought our favorite ube macapuno cake from Red Ribbon. I've always adored Red Ribbon even when I was in Cebu.

It was lovely hearing people speak Filipino and Cebuano-Visayan there.

only if you like curry. :hehe:

:P How did you know AJ tastes like curry? Have you tried biting him?
