I called the NVC yesterday the lady said they have problem in their systems.

I advice you to call and ask them if its okay to send your IV package with your AOS coversheet.

The NVC operator told me its OK to send the papers with AOS barcode.

I can't :( My husband doesn't have a job and he's worried it'll affect his AOS. I'm sending him my forms and paperwork etc, and he has a week to either get this job he's hoping for or to use a sponsor. Does a sponsor negatively affect the visa? Cause he had the job he recently lost for 3 years but the company went bust in this crappy economical crisis so it's not really his fault.

OMG!

I paid the IV fee March 3. It was taken out of my bank account March 4. AND on the website it says IN PROCESS. #######?!

I am pathetically logging into this every hour or so. Should I call NVC and see what the deal is?!?!?!?!?!

I think I would go to the payment portal and print a copy of the IN Process sheet ( that has the date you initiated the payment process for the IV Fee ) and then scan a copy of the bank transaction showing paid and when. I would then send a e-mail with the above attached documents to nvcinquiry@state.gov . I would use your case number and the name of what you are sending as the subject line and in the body of the e-mail state the dates of payment and ask when you can expect the payment status to be updated so you can print the coversheet and Fee Receipt. Remember to include the case number, name of principal applicant, principal applicant's DOB, name of petitioner, and petitioner's DOB in your e-mail.

Education is what you get from reading the small print. Experience is what you get from not reading it.

Sounds good. I called and the operator I spoke with said she'd talk to supervisor...couldn't find her supervisor--asked me to call back. I'm going to do this too and call again later. It's such a pain! Thanks for the advice!
