So you can get to the airport, take L' Areobus to the main station and get a shuttle to the hotel but you can't take a shuttle from the hotel to the main station and then to the airport?

I don't think so, no. I might be wrong about that, but I couldn't really see any option for that on their website... The metro IS easy to use though, and only about three or four blocks from Le Dauphin. Just make sure you go through the correct side of the turnstile.

I used L'aerobus! Worked out great! Like Wyatt stated, u go from Airport, to the bus terminal, get on the smaller shuttle to ur hotel! On the way back I got my hotel front desk to arrange pick up by the smaller shuttle at the hotel, they take u to the bus terminal, and then u hop back on the L'aerobus back to the airport. Exact opposite on how one arrived. I bought the return ticket at the airport, saves you a few $$$. I just work up--the beauty of working nights,lol so I may not have made any sense here, sorry! lol

I didn't get a return ticket because I wasn't sure what my plans were going to be for that day. I had hoped to get together with one or two other VJers, but was just too fried to be good company.

One doesnt have to buy ur return ticket at the airport--u just save a few $$ that way---, you can hop on the shuttle at ur hotel (one has to phone to be picked up by small shuttle) then pay for shuttle at that bus terminal prior to jumping on the L'aerobus to airport

Yeah, it's true! No offense from me as well...but I felt the exact same way in Montreal, and said as much to my wife when I talked to her later that day. When you're sitting at a table and all you hear is French, when you're in a bus station and all you read is French, and you're in an airport and all the TV channels are French, you don't really feel like you're in the same country!

Another thing I noticed is just how many people smoke there! It was VERY noticeable. Smoking has gradually been weened out of society in B.C., but it's obviously still quite prevalent in Quebec.

Fashions are beautiful there though, I will say that.

I loved being surrounded by the French language. Having spent my early years in Quebec it reminds me of family times spent in Montreal.

Now the smoking was another thing..I also noticed it everywhere. I felt as though I was constantly holding my breath while walking through the throngs of smokers on the street.

When writing a review, it's easy to forget that details that may be trivial to YOU, may go a long way toward alleviating the concerns of others. I know I tend to ramble and expound a bit, but I hope that I covered most of the bases in my little treatise there.

I had been going into my documents folder almost daily until I read your review...then I organized everything once, and only went into it one more time after that before my interview. Somehow it completely instilled confidence in me that I was 100% prepared.

How much proof of a bonafide marriage did you bring alongside the other original documents? I want to bring a lot but also mindful of streamlining so I don't have a piece of luggage to bring re evidence haha.

They must be open ended. You save $6 if you get a return ticket. Not a big enough difference for me to have dithered over personally, given that I didn't know what my plans would be after the interview.

Still, L'Aerobus departs every half an hour, so that's a pretty good schedule. I.e.: you'll never be waiting longer than half an hour no matter when you get there.

I brought a TON...but wasn't asked for a single document. Still, like I said in my review, and as my signature line reads, I think it's a good rule of thumb to be overprepared. After all, what's the worst case scenario for having TOO MANY supporting documents, versus having too few?
