Call the number on the NOA I or II (don't remember). Type in by using the correspondant numbers - 322 for EAC I guess and proceed with the rest of the numbers... worked fine with me

Our petition never got touched BTW... no biggie

All the best

Oh and if you're the beneficiary, they might not be able to help you - at least they couldn't in our case.

ohh i see, ohh i noticed it took 6.5 months before you got approved? Did you ask help from a Congressman or Senator?Or you just keep calling the USCIS? haay so frustrating this whole process.

I know it can be very frustrating but by god, it's so great when you finally get approved!

After the 6 months average processing time, my fiancé (USC) called USCIS and requested an update on our case status (I'm not sure if that's the right name but they'll know what you mean when you tell them you're over 6 months and want to know where you stand) - no congressman or senator involved in our case (but clearly is an option if they can't help you speed up the process). All the best!
