Sorry.. I wrote this again..

We still don get NOA1 yet...

My fiance sent I-129F on Feb.12th and 3weeks hav passed already ..

USCIS still doesn cash his check yet..

He checked on USPS website that our package got to destination and he was told USCIS got it already when he called them on Feb. 22nd.

He called USCIS today, but he couldn get through to operator..

Since the check is not cashed yet,, that means our case is not in process, isn it..?

I don know what to do... how can I make them cash our check and start working on our case...

Im really worried.. so stressful..

Oh.. sorry I wasn trying to stress you out ..

I just don know what to do ... My fiance is gonna call USCIS next monday and hope we can find out whats going on ..

and He sent I-129F wiz a personal check... ( actually check of his own business but I don think thats a problem.)

did you check to make sure that it was signed for? or did you just send it regular mail?

Are you absolutely certain that your fiancee mailed the I-129F? Have you seen a copy of the USPS delivery confirmation?

it can take up to 4 to 5 weeks for them to cash the check .......it shouldn't now days when i sent in ours it took more than a month but that was right around the time the fee changed in 07 and the service centers got swamped with petitions ......give it a couple of weeks more........

Hola. Our NOA1 too was taking forever. First our check was showing as pending in the bank account and then it disappeared without the money being taken out. My husband called them and they said there was some problem regarding some of the apps and they would issue us the NOA1 receipt that week. When two weeks passed, we called them and requested to speak to a supervisor. We then found out then that some USCIS drone had cancelled our petition for incorrect filing EVEN THOUGH IT HAD GONE TO THE CORRECT CHICAGO LOCKBOX. After a lot of yelling, they issued us the NOA1 in one day. So don't wait to lose a month like we did right at the beginning. Call, be polite but firm and don't take NO for an answer.

I just sent my packet in via USPS on 02/25/10 and i received my NOA-1 on friday the 5th. my check was cashed within just a few days i dont know what the hold up with your is.

10/27/08 - Met Online

05/10/09 - Arrived in Manila

06/04/09 - Returned Home

02/25/10 - Sent I-129F

03/01/10 - I-129F arrived at CSC

03/02/10 - NOA-1 sent

03/04/10 - Check cashed

03/05/10 - NOA-1 received

04/15/10 - NOA-2 Sent

Finally!!!

We got NOA1 today !!

The check was cashed last month and I think my fiance wasn checking it on his bank website rite.. :wacko:
