It's all good -- I have the problem on VJ and all other 2.x IPB boards with Chrome (5.0.342.1) too, but wanted to clarify that it's a known bug that's been fixed with the next version.

The last time I talked to Ewok about geeky admin things, he said he was working on upgrading to 3, and I'm assuming that's what update announcement's about, so if I'm right and that's what he's doing in the update, never fear: this will be fixed soon

This week or sooner lets hope. The prep is in the final stages.

I know. There are so many fundamental changes that need to be made to get us to 3.0.x first. The subsequent upgrade to 3.1.x probably in the next month or two (they will support 3.0.x for a while after) should be less difficult. I never upgrade to a .x or above until there is a minor version roll after that to catch the bugs.

Ironically the most difficult step right now is converting the 70 or so pages we have around the site (guides, etc) into the IP Content System. I got the mod_redirect commands worked out to forward old pages but now I am just converting stuff... one page at a time. It is a manual process and I am averaging about 10 per day (takes maybe 5 minutes per page so I am spreading the work out this week). The new stuff looks GREAT though so it should be excellent once I am done.

I think you might like the IP.Content 2.x update, too -- they'll be integrating it better with the boards so you can redirect discussion about the articles to the boards!

That sounds like a useful addition. My goal is to get VJ converted by this coming weekend. I would guess I need 3-4 more days to get the pages converted over and then some last minute details. Most of the "VJ" custom tools should work already (data base scheme is very similar if not the same) however there may be some tweaks needed to the mysql queries. Also many areas of the site (custom ones) will need the new skin applied. Fun fun . I may take you up on the help if I get stuck though (appreciate the time if so).
