Hi everyone,

I just had a question concerning I-864A form. Initially when we first sent our AOS package, we sent the form I-864 for using a co-joint sponsor (not living in the same address as me and my husband). Then some weeks later we got an RFE saying we didn't send in the most recent I-864A form. So maybe my mistake for not questioning more about it, but we had mailed an I-864A form as requested. Then today, we received another RFE saying that the household member on Form I-864A has a different address from the sponsor's/petitioner's address. And they are asking now that we submit evidence that the household member lives in the same address as the sponsor/petitioner.

I am not sure what to do with this now because the joint sponsor does not live with me and my husband. Should I call uscis and say they were the ones who asked for the I-864A form and so we mailed it and now they want more evidence because of the different address of the co-sponsor and us? It's just confusing because uscis ask for something that really didn't apply to us and now they want evidence for it.
