Consumer Reports also tested a Corvette Z06 or ZR1 and took away points because of no storage space and it was loud under acceleration and had a firm ride. Whatever they say is the only opinion there is. I"ll take Car and Driver and a few others over CR. Unless I was buying a washing machine.

I actually dislike corvettes the most out of any sports car. Wouldn't buy one for $30K..

What US cars do you actually like and think are great cars? This I am keen on hearing..

You're not man enough to drive a Z06 or ZR1. Or a CTS V. Better stick to your Camry.

Fixed.

Dude, I'd take a Yaris over a corvette. Probably safer too.

Unless you have to stop or make a turn. :hehe:

Okay lets be fair. Fiat Punto over a corvette.

It's a damn shame they don't sell Renaults or Fiats here.

Not sure if Renault and Fiat have worked on their cars over the years but prior to my moving to the US 14 years ago, I wouldn't have considered either of these car makers for myself. My parents had a Citroën once and that was one disaster of a car.

Go take a look at the Geneva Motor Show and the hot Citroen DS3. Nice looking beastie.

Over here, I'll take me a Honda Fit, TYVM.

Don't interrupt me when I'm talking to myself

The looks were never the problem for Citroen. It's the quality of the vehicles they produce that fails to meet even basic standards. This I found to to be the case for the other french manufacturers (Renault and Peugeot) as well. Eye candy - well except for the 'Ugly Duck' and the R4 - but don't try to drive them.

Did I read that right and they are calling the mini cooper a sporty car? That has to be among the ugliest cars ever to hit the road.

Wonder if they figured in the recalling for the values.

What do you consider sporty oh wise one?

They have come a long way, with both now making really trendy cars. Of course VW and Audi are killing it. Not really a fan of BMW and Mercedes lost their way for a long time after the 80's..
