In January 2009, my then girlfriend's student visa ran out and she went back to Korea. We weren't sure if we wanted to do long distance, but we didn't see other people and we talked on skype often. She came back to visit in June and we decided we wanted to stay together. She came to visit again at the end of December on a visa waiver. About a month and a half into the visit, I decided I was ready and proposed to her.

I'm a little concerned about having to prove she didn't come here with the intent to adjust status. She moved out of her apartment before coming because she was planning on staying for a couple of months and didn't want to pay for it while out of country, and she also quit her job because getting more than a week off work is pretty hard to do in Korea. So, she has good reasons for ditching her job and her apartment that made sense to her, but it probably doesn't help make it look like she planned to return to Korea.

I've read that if the marriage and application for AOS comes long enough after entry, they aren't too suspicious, so that's good. It's been more than 60 days.

Do you guys think I'll have trouble with this?
