The Vermont gay marriage law was implemented by our elected legislature, passed both houses and was signed by our 4 term Republican governor. Dictation? No one will be unelected for voting in favor of it. We go skiing and fishing and hunting and stuff like that, plus we work and care about our families and do not want laws which tell other people what they can do in their bedrooms. Or what has to be between the legs of their partner in life. Frankly, my dear, we don't give a damn.

Are you talking about Gay marriage.. or what people do in their bedrooms?

You say "we don't give a damn" ... did you legalize other forms of marriage or do you still have laws which prevent people from choosing who they want and how many they want when they form marriages? Do you still have laws which prevent cousins or other family members from marriage?

Do the people of your state give a damn or not?

No, I really don't remember waging some kind of hate campaign against Charles. Perhaps we can have an opinion poll as to how many people think I hate Charles and someone can post some of my choicest remarks? I am sure someone has links - but as far as I am concerned, I only remember calling him a wanker. Well, I have called him bigoted as well.

No, I really can't. Obviously some things he posts I find annoying or I would not call him a wanker, but that's about it. My point is, if I really had some kind of unbridled hatred for the guy, surely the time to post would have been in that acrimonious thread where there was a no holds barred showdown. I posted twice, one with the post above and once, in response to someone posting something about mags as a moderator and I said something along the lines of it makes you think. I find it entirely bizarre that anyone should imagine that amounts to hatred.

That's not it...it was in a different thread and I don't remember which one, I just know I read it. But ok, I guess you don't hate him after all, since you are saying you don't. You seem to say you find things bizarre or things shouldn't be hard to understand when it's something you disagree with. Yes, it would be bizarre to amount your posts in that thread as hating. But no, those are not the posts that did it. And that you don't remember is what I find bizarre and why I posted tonight. lol.
