Few more Q's.........

I looking at the processing time for the Vermont office and it states 5 months. Does this include my interview in Vancouver??? Or is that the time to get the NOA 2 letter to my fiancee? Also do some cases go through faster then others?

Also when I have my POE into the US, can I get a EAD, while my AOS goes through?????

Thanks all ;)

09-28-2010 AOS Packet Sent

12-09-2010 Case transferred to California Service Center

**No Biometrics letter recieved yet ( over two months waiting

Sure you can get your EAD while AOS is in process. I got mine in 2 months. It took 6 months my K-1 application to be approved. NOA 2 is usually takes from 2-3 months, sometimes it can last longer. You can check statistics, and other members timelines to compare.

some cases go faster I think if the immigration center is not busy. Good Luck!

And it also depends what country the beneficiary is from. Some consulates are quick, some, not so much. Remember those time estmates are just that "estimates"

NOA 2 for VSC is closer to 4-6 months right now.

You apply for EAD the same time you file for AOS, it's usually a 2-3 month wait for it at most (it seems)

Слава Україні!
