Việc nó làm, tội nó phạm ra sao

Nó đầu tiên đem râu nó bện vào

I had the same problem when trying to contact them. I had my mom call for me, since she was retired at the time and I had to work. I took her awhile to get through also. Try calling in the morning right when they open.

Good luck!

I emailed (consular@vietnamembassy.us) and in 2007 it was $20 per seal, but I would recommend call the Washington DC number just to make sure. It's best if you try in the AM, but check the website for actual times of business.

go to vietnamese travel agency, they will do it for you about $250

Vietnamese travel agency will do it for you (send it off), but they'll charge you about $100 bucks more (profit) and do the same thing you could do on your own...so it depends on how much hassle you want to deal with...

My husband just had the documents authenticated in SF Consulate in November 2009. We had 3 documents (Affidavit of Single Status, Letter of No Marriage Record, and Divorce Decree) authenticated and translated into Vietnamese, but they didnt translate the Divorce Decree. We asked for rush service too, and we paid $170 which includes $20 for rush service. Everything was done in 3 to 4 business days, total over a week for sending back and forth. They answered the phone after I made 10 calls in 1 hour. I called when they just open in the morning.

FYI: In the Affidavit of Single Status, write in Vietnamese for your Occupation or else you have to have them translated when you apply at the Justice Department in Vietnam.
