Sincerity Works Good For Crossing The Border

Atleast that's what seemed to work with Vanessa here this morning.

She got asked questions about where she worked, what she was doing in the States, etc..

Then she was asked questions about the K1 process, but answered to the point and just what the agent asked and was let through with ease after that.

The only thing they required from her was my address to know where she would be.

This was on the ground outside of Buffalo, New York.

Don't know if any of this helps anyone else traveling, but I figure any 'experiences' people have when traveling while waiting for forms to process is good somewhat.

She was prepared though just in case. She had a copy of her lease, a letter from her employer, recent paystubs, and her return itenerary.

Yep. Crossing the border [generally] works well as long as you're honest, to-the-point, and backed up with documentation.

Glad she made it without and problems. I crossed quite frequently and never had any problems.

They did try and 'trip her up' though she said, so you have to watch out for that.

After she gave the address of where she'd be, he tried to say a different city to see if she would follow with him. She was sharp though and caught on to what he was doing.

She said it was a little bit longer than usual because of the questions regarding the K1, but other than that he was just trying to make sure she wasn't scamming/was going to come back legitimately.
