I will email them and then if I don't hear from them by say...8:45 a.m., I will call them.

I didn't get much sleep last night. I stayed up most of the night thinking about the phone call.

Did their message say to call them back? If so, I don't know that you even need to email them since they asked you to call. Although, as Jackie said, I'm sure it wouldn't do any harm if you did email them.

No, actually they said that they will attempt to call again. I am scared that if I don't talk to them Sunday... I will miss their calls again next week.

I have field experience in elementary schools Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday morning next week...Thursday and Friday isn't that big of a deal because I will be in class and will just step out. I just don't want to miss the call again.

The embassy has not called back. I emailed them yesterday, but they haven't responded. I tried to call them this morning about the same time they called me, but the were closed.

I guess I'll wake up earlier tomorrow and try again.

Oh gosh I'm sorry! Do you know their hours? I know in Casa there are specific hours you can call in. Does your embassy have that? This way you can plan on when you need to be up and can reach someone.

Hang in there! You'll hear something soon.

I went on the embassy website and it said between 2 and 3:30, so I'll wake up early to call them at that time. I wish I had talked to them today. You would think that after calling 4 times Thursday they would have tried again today.

I am really sad that I didn't hear anything today.

Thank you so much for the encouragement.

Usually the 1st day always busy for them.

I am sure they are going to call you back tomorrow, or even it is better if you try to call them during their hours.

My finace left to Jordan and in few minutes he should be landing there. He got to do the Jordanian finger prinrts since he lived there for 5 years.

It is hard to be away from him.. after getting used to have him around.

On the bright side, we are on step in right direction, and going to see him in 20 days from now.

I didn't think about them being busy today.

Enjoy your trip to Jordan. I hope you have time to see a lot of the sites.

Good luck with the interview.

Apparently, the IV section at the embassy in Amman does not take calls, even from US citizens. They will only correspond by email. I talked to three different people this morning with the same response...we are not allowed to transfer to the IV section.

So, I called DOS, they said that the only information they have is that we are still in AP. She told me to email the embassy...which I have, but they still haven't responded.

Hello,

Any update... I was wondering about you last night, but silly me burried my self with work forgot to write till now..

Hope everything is well.

Batta

the embassy hasnit called me back, but the finally responded to my email. They said the consulate was calling to verify some information. They said that if the consulate still needed to verify the information they would call me back. I'm going to email them this weekend because I would like to know what's going on. I wish the would issue our visa. This is taking forever. I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

I wish I knew if they were still working on our case or if they put us on hold because I didn't answer the phone. I'm really hating the class that I was on right now!

That's good news at least you heard from them.

I have noticed that Amman embassy has changed a lot.. before they were answering within 1 day now it is taking longer than usual, or sometimes it seems email is ignored.

I pray that you hear some answer soon, I know the feeling of the unknown, it is a killer.

I am trying to stay positive as I head there end of this month to go as mental support for him ..LOL

I think he is the one who puts me in order as he always ask me not to get upset and not to bother myself..I am trying.

I just wish they'd call back... If that's what it'll take to get his visa.

I know you must be very nervous about the interview, but yet very excited to see him.

I hope y'all do not have to endure AP. It really is torture.
