My heads hurts

I don't get it....what is not to understand about the 120 day rule....

USCIS will not be bullied into anything..by senators, congressman, Media & even Immigration Lawyers...

Does help if your senator is interested in you and is on the USCIS finance committee. Probably shouldn't say this, but what the heck, also helps if you send a nice size check for his campaign fund. Sure works for the health insurance companies, Wall Street, and the oil companies. In regards to your application, everything has to be 100% honest.

This is at the end of your interview letter:

"NOTE: Please be advised that under section 336 of the Immigration and Nationality Act, you have the right to request a hearing before an immigration officer if your application is denied, or before the U.S. district court if USCIS had not made a determination on your application within 120 days of the date of your examination."

For whatever reason, the USCIS misplaced our application twice, both for the I-751 and the N-400, I don't make the rules nor determine how our government works, just try to survive. Ombudsman is completely worthless as in attempting to make any contact with the USCIS. What my senator did for us, is to request they find our misplaced applications and that they did do. My thanks to him was a donation to his campaign fund, but should point out, that was optional.
