Thank goodness. I thought I read through the guide throughly and thought as you just reaffirmed that it was a suggestion but not needed.

Thank you for your kind thoughts :D I hope it's speedy as well :D Same with yours.

hi canadia it think it is better for you and your after interview visa process you sumit your affitdafit because at the time of your interview time when you are in embassy investigate officer investigate your marriage eye witness if he dont have your affitdafit he face difficulty to verify your marriage eye witneses and in this situation he can take time to verify and delay your case and result delay your usa visa with passport process after interview

have a nice day

Sir, no offense, but the consulate in Canada is much different than Pakistan from what I've observed. They'll be fine without the affivdact, especially since they have proof of living together and financial co-mingling.

Seems like the affidavits are more useful for couples who haven't been married very long, whereas if you've been together a while you're more likely to have concrete evidence of financial co-mingling, etc. :)

Yes we've been together for 5 years now. Finances have been commingled for about a year now. Husband worked in canada from September 08 to March 09. Continued to live with me as a visitor to Canada till September of 09. Proof is very easy for us to prove and we did that with our joint bank account, our credit card bills, lease and energy bill. Thank you for setting my mind at ease.

Not gonna lie when I read his response I started to worry. But it was very relieved to hear from another Canadian that since we had evidence of living together and financial co-mingling that should be more than enough. Thanks again as I said above to the other person. It really sets my mind at ease.
