Whether someone thinks I am a homophobe because I don't support gay marriage really doesn't matter to me if they haven't been around me in real life. They can have their opinions, I can have the reality. It's not worth getting too far bent out of shape about.

Why don't you support it?

Because I am a bigot ;) ...but the real answer, I know I had talked about it probably a long time ago on here. I am too tired to get into a big discussion about it or to try to convince anyone or be convinced right now. I want marriage to be for one man and one woman.

That is discriminatory to horny men and women who would like more than one. It forces them to live in sin, outside of the sacred bonds of marriage. By defining marriage in that way, you enable sin and please the Devil.

So then shouldn't you be happy?

OK - without getting into a protracted discussion then, is your objection about granting the fundamental legal rights pertaining to marriage to a gay couple, or simply that such a institution could be called marriage?

Yes. no. Yes. yes. no. no.

Ok, I'm not really against civil unions for the purpose of rights like being able to visit someone in the hospital, have a say in their health situations, etc.
