did you receive 'ds-3032 kit' via email?

You can do stuff at the payment portal, if that's the case.

have a read?

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...t&p=3560467

NO ONE WILL SEND FORMS TO YOU, USUALLY.

There are exceptions, of course - ie - case been at NVC for 2 months with no petitioner/beneficiary call in/ check in - bing ! get ds-3032 postal mailed to beneficiary.

Remember - if you are GOING ELECTRONIC at NVC (cause you've a Montreal casefile) -

'normal' procedures, processes, and turn-around times for DS-3032 DO NOT APPLY to you.

Edited by Darnell

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

My wife is doing her part, filling out the I-864 and collecting her tax tub and such. I am doing my part, the DS-230 and my police/birth certificate part

On the guide

That first payment to make is for the AOS - the I-864 - so if you signup for the online payment portal - you can track what's going on, make payments, check payment status, etc...

The cycle then goes like this:

1. pay online.

2. wait 2 days (but keep checking online payment portal status) .

3. get the payment receipt from the online payment portal.

4. PRINT the payment receipt.

5. send off the form, the supporting docs, and the coversheet and payment notice to NVC.

My wife is doing the I-864 and I am doing the DS-230 form.

1. You mentioned to print out the payment receipt and send it off with the form, I assume it's the AOS $75 receipt and send that with her I-864 form with supporting documents, correct ? Now on NVC website the AOS $75 bill shows "PAID", I guess she can send off her I-864 anytime with the receipt and other supporting paperwork?

2. I also received a Documetn Cover Sheet but not sure what it's for. The cover sheet basically tells me to send it with other documents to NVC address in Portmouth, NH, but it doesn't say what documents should I send with. And on the bottom of this cover sheet is a barcode and under that bar code it says CR1. Is this cover sheet for my wife's I-864 or for my DS-230 ?

3. I have sent in the DS-3032 last week and now I am trying to obtain my birth/police/marriage certificate. So you are saying they will only send me a email to notify me that I can send in the DS-230 and nothing else ?

Thanks a bunch.

Once your AOS bill $70 shows PAID, you can send in the I864 package with the rest of the documentation.

If your IV bill of $400 shows PAID as well, go ahead and send in your DS230 packet.

Remember to put the barcoded cover sheet right on TOP of everything else.

Read up the guides for detailed list on the packages.

Goodluck.

IN MY OPINION -

If the I-864 shows PAID in the online portal -

send off the I-864 'pack' via email to that special NVC Electronic Processing address.

MTL casefiles seem to be handled 'differently' than GUZ casefiles -

I tell folk with GUZ casefiles to WAIT until they receive the 'successfully enrolled in EP email'

MTL casefiles, though - there is no 'change of casefile number' at all (unlike GUZ) .

for more MTL specific folk - come over here - http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=224010

and join in their discussion.

SaChinKy - please - he's an EP case - postal processing stuff won't apply to him - it's a bit different - he's following the guide over at

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/...onic_Processing

Happy Thursday !

Now on NVC website the AOS $75 bill shows "PAID", I guess she can send off her I-864 anytime with the receipt and other supporting paperwork? the paid receipt - print it to pdf with CutePDF or save it as PDF file. there is also a coversheet there in the portal for the I-864 - print that to pdf with CutePDF or save to PDF - also. Once it's marked PAID - that is the ONLY indication you will get that it's SAFE to send in the email

2. I also received a Documetn Cover Sheet but not sure what it's for. And on the bottom of this cover sheet is a barcode and under that bar code it says CR1. Is this cover sheet for my wife's I-864 or for my DS-230 ? that coversheet is NOT about EP - it's about the 'postal process' for sending in forms and documents. The EP process mirrors that, to an extent, but obviously (it should be obvious to you, by now) - you are NEVER sending in anything via postal mail, or courier. It's all email.

3. I have sent in the DS-3032 last week and now I am trying to obtain my birth/police/marriage certificate. So you are saying they will only send me a email to notify me that I can send in the DS-230 and nothing else ?

no - you are a MTL case - I'm not convinced YOU will receive any email about 'what to send next'. Instead, focus on the payment status of each thing - when it's marked PAID on the online portal, it's SAFE to email it in to the Special NVC EP email address

Thanks a bunch.
