Is there a Mar 2010 NVC thread? Just got our NOA2 dated Mar 9, 2010...soooo I guess we're in... :hehe:

We're K1 and I just spent a lot of time reading NVC guides that are mainly CR/IR, 130s.... It seems we have, for the most part, a quick turn around in NVC? Barring any unusual circumstances.

Rcv'd my hardcopy NOA2 yesterday 10 March, so last night I thought " what the hell..... give it a shot and call NVC " after the 8th attempt ... actually got thru and was on hold when of all things the cordless phone starts beeping ! Battery went dead !! :o I am going to try again tonight AFTER a trip to the store for a new battery !!

Hey, yeah..post if you get any good response on this from NVC....Our dates are really close. I was going wait till Monday to call them and hopefully get an embassy case number by then, so we can begin cueing in the medical and I can start timing my calls to the embassy for the interview. This part seems a bit lacking in the guides I found most of my scoop from searching recent examples.

I really am not the type to sit and wait for an embassy letter, expecially when the Manila embassy website says you should get a letter of appointment in 2-3 months after they receive your file. Some folks here in VJ have called and received appointment dates within weeks of the embassy receiving the files. :angry:

called NVC tonight ..... got 5 busy signals and then got thru ..... was on hold for 49 minutes and then Paully got on the line and said they had not rcv'd my case yet :(

Thought it might be a long shot .... but it couldn't hurt to try. I will try again next Monday.
