Guys help me with this..is it necessary to have a police clearance even though you did not left the country? I have my police clearance but it was issued late of September last year and was issued in my hometown where I lived for 22 years..do I need to get a separate police clearance here in Manila since I've been here for 3 years but I've been transferring places since I just rent..any help would be appreciated..

you only need a police clearance if you lived or worked out of your country[philippines] for more than 6 months,but what you need to get is an NBI at any branch[office] and they are only good for 1 year

If you didn't stay abroad for 6 months or more than 6 months, you don't need police clearance, however, you need NBI clearance.

Lifting Condition (I-751)

09/26/2011 - Biometrics Appointment Notice Date (Sent)

10/13/2011 - Early Biometrics

11/28/2011 - Sent response to RFE

Im confused. I thought everyone need to get a police clearance regardless on what route she/he's on and whether he/she worked abroad or not. Well, obviously I'm wrong. :wacko:
