Help! I have a question about Affidavit of Support.

Timeline

Ok so I have my affidavit of support. i have a paystub that shows his yearly pay which is....well alot. but my fiance says i need a tax transcript from him. thing is my family friend who is our affidavit has an important job and is extremely busy and doesnt think he will be able to get this tax transcript. How important is it? Would his pay stub work just as well?

Our Timeline

11-28-08 We first met when he came to Florida

12-04-08 We shared our first kiss

01-16-09 Patrick came back to Florida for 3 weeks

04-01-09 I went to England and stayed for 2 weeks

07-04-09 Patrick came back for 2 weeks

07-17-09 Patrick proposed!

08-10-09 Sent out I-129F

08-13-09 NOA1

08-20-09 NOA1 in hand/receipt

10-06-09 NOA2! Approved in 54 days!!!!

10-13-09 NOA2 in hand/receipt

it's not that hard to get a transcript. Just have him call the IRS at (800) 829-1040. If they are sponsoring (or co-sponsoring) they need to give a copy of the tax return with the W-2s and 1099s or tax transcript. The whole call for them takes about 5 mins max if you have to listen to all the prompts. They are free too and take about 1-2 weeks to get.

Removal of conditions Journey

16 March 2012 Sent I-751 package from Aviano AB, Italy.

29 March 2012 Received everything back...wrong fee. thought we didn't have to pay biometrics since we were sending fingerprint cards and passport photos.

30 March 2012 Sent everything out again from Aviano AB, Italy.

10 April 2012 Check cashed

17 April 2012 Received NOA1 dated 6 April.

06 Dec 2012 Received 10 yr green card. Letter said it was approved 28 November 2012.
