I live in Kansas and getting a license was probably the easiest thing ever. I had the written test in order to get my learner's permit, studied from a tiny little booklet and made only 2 mistakes (5 allowed). I am not allowed to drive alone yet (my husband is teaching me), and still have to take the driving part of exam, but since you know how to drive @hindocha, it really should not be a problem for you to obtain a Kansas driving license. At the local DMV office, they should have a list of acceptable documents you need to provide in order to get a license (proof of residency, etc.) It is really easy, so easy that it scared me.
