Ok, Just wanted to know. I went to Rite Aid to get my pics done (wanted them done properly) but they simply gave me the pics uncut and in sets of two. They said that they are no longer allowed to cut them and that I should submit them as-is.... HELP PLEASE...

That sounds odd...

We cut ours - I took what we got from Walgreen's and scanned them in, then duplicated them so I'd have about 6 on one page. We then printed them on photo paper and cut them out.

But also, I realized the pics are not to requirements- my shoulders aren't showing at all- Im just gonna take them back because my husband wont go back to the same store to have them mess u again (even though I explained the new requirements to the manager who quickly yelled that he knew what he was doing). So now my pics are flawed and have to take new ones... THANKS FOR THE RESPONSES

We got our pictures done at a Rite Aid a couple of months ago. I definitely DO NOT recommend going there. They had no idea what they were doing... it took them literally 1.5 hours to take pictures for me, my husband and my daughter, and then charged us an arm and a leg for it! Ours also came in sets of two, so we had to cut them out ourselves. What a hassle!

I just did passport size photos (per USCIS requirements) at a local photographer - professional, not some Walgreen type photo. He made sure it was according to instructions. Took him 10 minutes to do them, I got 4 pics for $20.

I am sure you can find a local professional photographer to do your pictures properly and for a reasonable price.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Got mine done at the Post Office - also in the strips of 2, i'm sure the measurements were a little off, as the clerk barely knew how to work the camera, even though they use the pics for passports... They cost $75! We put them in anyway, we cut them in half leaving all the white borders, - my hubby reassured me not to worry. In the end we had no problems. In fact the pics were never used for anything - they used my biometrics photo for AP, EAD & GC...

If you have a digital camera, a computer, color printer, Kodak photo paper, and have access to the internet, you can follow the Passport Photo Guide posted on the Department of State website and take your own digital photos. Do a search for computer free/software that allows you to easily print out suitable passport photos. We did this and had no problems whatsoever...saved some $$$, time and effort too...

Another question, would it matter if i did copies on both sides per page... E.G. We talk to each other a lot- like 100 pages or more per phone bill; know i dont have to include it, but just wondering???
