Interview Date

Hey everyone,

I was just curious, Iam currently awaiting my interview date and was wondering when I receive my interview date is it possible to call the embassy and move the date forward if there have been any cancellations?

It's not like a doctor's office - they don't move you forward for cancellations - never heard of it being done anyway. Have heard of them postponing interviews if someone's circumstances change though.

Once your visa's been approved, you have 6 months to use it, then 3 months after entering the US to get married. If you're looking for more time (just guessing), there's 9 months. Or are you trying to change it to a particular window due to a visit or business trip?

Not that im aware of, just chill your nearly there. I only took me a just under 2months from the embassy receiving my packet 3 to my interview date. The only way to speed it up (not guaranteed) is to show you have a fixed weeding date/travel arrangements. In some cases they have apparently tried to accommodate them.
