For those whose cases have been transferred to California Service Center, I have some questions. Have your case been approved? Have you received any notice yet?

I submitted mine in late March and received EAD and AP at the end of June. My 485 has been touched on July 10th. Does it mean they are going to look at my folder soon?

Im asking for my senator for assistance now cause they sure didn't wait as long as we are waiting for our green card to spend our $1,010. I wanna see the results of what I paid for :angry:

I thought we were done after our interview, but it turns out it is far from over...

On June 11th, my husband and I (USC) went to our interview which went great. At the end, the officer gave us the ROC letter and told us that he had been approved. Since then, we havent received any welcome letter or communication from USCIS.

On July 26th, we called the hotline to see what was going on. Two weeks later, we have received a RFE for his birth certificate, translation of it and a certified copy of a marriage registry (which I am assuming is the marriage certificate). All of which we sent with our original AOS package and saw during our interview at the same office we have to send the RFE response to. In fact, I sent 2 certified copies of our marriage certificate then.

I feel like they are just requesting something to come up with a reason why his paperwork wasnt processed. Im working on getting another certified copy of our marriage cert. and we have a spare translation of his birth cert., luckily.

We leave for Italy at the end of September to visit his family and I had really wanted him to have his GC by then.

Today, we went to our InfoPass this morning and turns out that my husband's application is still pending in the system. Even though we have a ROC notice saying he was approved, the officer said that a supervisor still needs to approve it. I think it is all an excuse. I told her that I knew if the application needed to be reviewed by a supervisor, they usually give a different paper at the end of the interview which was far different than one saying that it was approved! They wouldn't accept our response for the RFE either, although I wasn't really expecting them too. So, it looks like his AP is still valid.

We next dayed the RFE response. So hopefully, this will end soon. I still believe we received the RFE to somehow justify why our application wasn't touched after our interview. Best case scenario, they will push everything through once they get our response...Fingers crossed!!

Good luck with that; I see you had the "transfer" of your case back in April.

That should have indicated a swift and positive outcome but you're still left hanging.

Hope they stop the foot-dragging.

Finally done. My Daughter's interview was this morning and was very quick. In, out, GC Approved. Time to take a breath and wait to start the fun again.

What's up with the March fillers not getting their green card?!!! Was anyone able to get some useful info? cuz needless to say that calling USCIS is useless!

We had an interview on July 18, and it was APPROVED! Lasted about 15 mins and it was pretty easy. And they mailed out my green card on the 24th of Aug and I got it on the 30th. I was really amazed at how easy and quick it was for us. We didnt get transferred to CSC becoz we got an RFE, plus we live in California. So I am thankful that it was quite a painless process from start to finish despite the RFE. I feel for those who are still waiting though. And I wish you all goodluck.

Wow I thought everyone was finished :blink: Though 1 of the folks that applied for k1 same month as we did just got approved for visa (15 months), so sometimes ????????????? happens

Are some March filers still waiting?

I can't believe you're still waiting for the GC either. When was the last time you called the 1-800 number? Or made an infopass to go down to your local service center?

Our VisaJourney started July 2009 when I mailed the 129-F

Fiance here February 2010, married 10 days later

Able to apply to remove conditions 12-Feb-2012
