Our case has been in limbo for about a month now after we sent they acknowledged our reply to the RFE. Today, I called USCIS about my AP since its been 4 months since we filed and we are beyond normal processing time. I called around 7:00 PM. and the lady sent in a service request. But just now, about an hour and a half after, voila, I got a text saying my AP HAS BEEN APPROVED. hahahah. are they even working at this time? Im very thankful, but I still think its so funny.

We applied for my adjustment of status mid March, it was transfered to California mid April, I received my EAD and AP mid May and since then nothing. The timeline for the California service center seems to be 4 months for I485, so does it mean that now I can ask them to look into it because we are over normal processing time?

Thanks

Yes, I believe you are within timelines to have customer service submit a Service Request(SR). Worse case scenario, they tell you they can't for another month and you call back mid-August.

For those whose cases have been transferred to California Service Center, I have some questions. Have your case been approved? Have you received any notice yet?

I submitted mine in late March and received EAD and AP at the end of June. My 485 has been touched on July 10th. Does it mean they are going to look at my folder soon?

Woohoo! Just got my AP today and my interview notice for 8/18/2010. weird coz there was no update online except the one from a month ago when they said they have recieved my RFE response. I was starting to panic since we havent heard anything after that. But when I got home there it was, our interview notice. Now I can relax. or maybe not since our interview is coming.
