Hi..I have a question about the Welcome Letter..

I was concerned because some filers said they get 3 email/texts from USCIS that thier GC is approve before they get it..

My question is, Is the Welcome Letter the approval? Because it says here: (got my welcome letter Monday)

THIS IS TO NOTIFY YOU THAT YOUR APPLICATION TO PERMANENT RESIDENCE HAS BEEN APPROVED. IT IS WITH GREAT PLEASURE THAT WE WELCOME YOU TO PERMANENT RESIDENCE IN THE UNITED STATES.

BLAH...BLAH...BLAH...

WE WILL SOON MAIL YOU A NEW PERMANENT RESIDENT CARD. YOU SHOULD RECEIVE IT WITHIN THE NEXT 3 WEEKS.....ETC..ETC..

Im confuse, Do i need to wait for the email/texts saying its approve? or this is the approval??? :o

oh..wasn't paying attention:yes: that being said though, I dunno how to answer your question as my case requires me to have my AOS interview which happens Friday! Hope you get your card in the mail soon!

That's ok Binow, I know everybody don't have answer in every questions.. :)

And you know how it feels when ur waiting for something and not feeling comptable until its already in ur hand.. :P

Anyway, goodluck on ur interview gurl. We are all getting our GC very soon.. :star:

Im lucky I don't have to go through the interview part..whewww!! That saves me a lot of stress.lol!!

our K1 and K2 AOS interview was approved,,the interviewer was very nice she keep smiling the whole 30 minutes interview,,she does not ask additinal documents for us but she just look our wedding photos and the wedding cards that friends had give us,,,then she get both our EAD and I-94,,,

Green Card Received!

So my wife has to file to remove conditions 90 days before her 2 year anniversary. Is her anniversary 6/4/10?

Does anyone know of a website to help remind them (since USCIS doesn't) when to file the I-751? This is one date I don't want to forget!!

The day of the interview (17th), I got the 1st email "card production ordered". Then a touch on the 18th, and yesterday I received the Welcome letter. I just got another email saying card production ordered. I guess I need one more email then the GC will come!
