My concern/worry is the bold statement below......

Did you get 3 text messages/emails from USCIS regarding your EAD? I got 3.

June 4 - we ordered production of your new card. Blue dot on Case Status Online is at Document Production - the last step.

June 11 - we ordered production of your new card. Blue dot on Case Status Online is at Document Production - the last step.

June 15 - we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION. Blue dot on Case Status Online WENT A STEP BACKWARD - Post Decision Activity - the second to the last step of the process.

So I just went ??????????????? what's up? virtual typo error? Or they're just really going backwards? Anyone on the same boat? What does that mean??

AND...What's the typical waiting period after receiving the 3rd and supposedly last notice through phone/email? Thank you.

Yes it is normal, the dot design person was not the brightest! :rofl: Basically the last notice is card is in the mail! :star:

Lena's card took 3 days after notice to arrive!

When i got my 3rd email, that's what happened to me as well. My third email was received on the 11th, EAD was in the mail on the 14th. If you have 3 alerts, and blue dot on post decision, then it will in the mail any day now! :)

That's great news. Things don't always work out as planned, as I thought my wife would

get the EAD at her POE inspection (I hear it's very rare actually).

It turned out that she's had 3 minor surgeries (all successful) in the last 3 months,

so there won't be any possibility of her working until she returns from Thailand

for her son's university graduation.

Don't lower your standards for job hunting just because you're not a USC,

you have all the rights that a citizen has to get a good job & benefits.

Luckily I worked in LA for 1 year in 2007-2008 so hopefully I can set some standards as far as the salary...thanks for the precious advice! :star:

Hi confuse!!! I recenttly got my EAD card too and yesterday we went to get my SSN and the lady told me exactly the same. But the lady was so nice she said it happened a lot because we just got our EAD so it wasn't registered to the Homeland Secutiry yet. She got my information and she said she'll try again in couple of days and if its not activated still she will send a mail to USCIS about the card that they need it to be activated so they can process my SSN..and it takes about 4 weeks to get it done, that's fine with me since I don't need it yet anyway. DOn't worry ur not the only one in this kind of situation.. :)

I don't know how we did differently, but we applied for and received the SSN card in the mail, three weeks after PoE, before we file for AoS. All we needed was her passport, the visa on it, and the I-94 attached to it.

It is normal to receive 3 notifications for your EAD.

(It happened to me too).

You will receive your card in about 3 days. :)

I only got 2 notifications for my EAD, but the dot also went backwards for me. lol

Still no touches on my AOS since May 4th, but I'm not in a rush for that one as much.

She got the EAD production ordered & AP sent June 16.

Of the two, the AP is more important as she hopes to travel to Thailand in 2 weeks for

her son's university graduation.

I remember my college graduation and I only have a pic with me and my grandmother.

My parents were there but that was the end of the "freaky 60's" and there was a disconnect

with parents to some extent but I would give my eyeteeth for a "do-over" of that day.

I can see how important it is to her to be there.
