Ideally, they will automatically approve it since you showed up and it was their fault! Lol.

Like this process isn't emotionally draining enough ....they can't even be competent enough to have your file there on the day of the interview.

Lol @ going to jail. True not much leverage to throw a fit.

I didn't even think that something like this could happen. Either way, monday is probably a good day to start calling bc maybe by then they will have more updates on their end.

oh my god, i feel scared, nervous and worried now,,since we will be having interview at the place you have this coming june 21,, i guess i will have to call the USCIS Irving and ask if our files is there already? i feel so worried.....

I'm in the same boat as you. AP hasn't been touched since 4/5 and last touch for EAD was 5/3 but that's only bc of the fingerprints.

VJ i think says he will get his ap/ead within this week...

So I'm thinking of calling early next week.

Calling doesn't hurt ...I would call sooner but it's hard because he needs to be present when I call bc they wont speak to me without him.

Hard to do when I leave for work at 7am and get back home at 8pm

Yeah I think I'll waste some of my precious AT&T minutes and call:) Last time it worked for the bio letter so why not. I suppose your husband's English is not good enough for him to talk to them? Maybe call them on your lunch break -although I am sure you don't want to have your lunch ruined

Today I received text messages for my 2nd EAD card production ordered..

I hope i get my EAD and AOS card soon...!!

Since my husband is leaving this month to work for awhile in Phil. Im hoping to get this thing done before he leaves the country so I can go with him and visit my family back there.

OMG Blackbird, I'm so sorry to hear that. I would have had a panic attack or something. I hope it's not long before you hear from them.

As for me, I've received a touch on my AP today. Go figure. lol The one I don't really care about is the one they decide to do something with! No approval yet though. I'm hoping this means they decide to look at my EAD soon as well.

OK. Just came back from my Interview in Irving Texas. So, i guess i am out to set a record. We got there and patiently waited with our restaurant style buzzer. A lot of couples and interviewers/IO's coming to get people. We left our cellphones in the car. Anyway, i guess it was at 12:30pm (right on time for interview schedule) our buzzer goes off. This lill old lady comes to get us and tells us that they don't have our file so "NO INTERVIEW TODAY UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE" .....What!! Are you kidding me! Pinch me or something coz i must be dreaming. Lol. ANyway, she was extremely apologetic and said that our file hasnt arrived in :bonk:Irving. I have everything including my EAD and no interview? Pinch me again........ She took our interview notice letter and wrote on it that i was there but file wasn't. Now i just hope they haven't lost it coz i am going crazy. She doesn't even know when they will call me. I PRAY that they haven't lost my file ......wow.:help:I am loosing my mind. Anyway, i will try stay calm just coz i believe everything happens for a reason. Just like if you hit a red light and you curse out not knowing that if you hit green light you'd be in a bad wreck......something positive will come out of this. GOD BLESS AMERICA. I will try stay calm even though i took whole day off from work.

They really S*** (Pardon my language!)sometimes! I mean, messing with people's lives like this! My husband is taking half a day off and I am sure he will be so pissed off if this happens to us...I guess there is no way to know beforehand...I bet they had an old lady telling you that hoping to get actual sympathy from you instead of killer instincts!

Cheer up, hopefully they will reschedule it soon and thankfully you have EAD and AP in the meantime (and a job too it looks like- which is great!)

His english is fine - but I know the system and the way to handle bureaucracy better than him ... I got a lot done calling and wasting my minutes since this process started back at K1 stage ..and I would call during my lunch break too assuming I spent it with my husband but like I said - can only do it when he is around.

Anyhow ... It's almost the end of the journey for this step and I hope it ends sooner than later.

Tomorrow is another day ..and I'm sure more news to come

On positive note, I just got my final ? 3rd text msg with approval.

I guess my EAD should arrive any day now.

Hummm wonder if 3 texts are true with AOS also?? I got 3 texts and emails in 2 days!! Card production ordered, Welcome letter mailed, and another card production ordered!

How long should I expect to receive the approval of AOS?

Hi..we both have the same timeline. I received my AP also June 1st..

My last updated on my AOS was May 26..and its still on Initial Review..

Yah, I have my AP already but he'll be staying there for year or so and of what i know its risky to use AP if u stay longer than 6mos.?? Is that correct?

Get this: I am at the pool (not mine, the apartment complex'one!) and I am reading your post about your emails. Obviously I start freaking out because I seriously think that there is something wrong with my case (YES, I am a freak!). Sure enough, 5 minutes later...2 EMAILS! EAD and AP approved!!!! :dance: I didn't sign up for texts so I knew the emails were all I was going to get. YAYYY! VJ was right on with the timeline!
