I am nervous about my Interview which is on Thursday 3rd @ 12:30pm in Irving TEXAS. Read on here that afternoon might be = to bad interview. lol. I am a nervous wreck. Just praying that i get a good IO and both my wife and i will be calm. Good luck to all doing interviews this week and to everyone else.

Don't fear you are in for real.

You should know each other well and if you are telling the truth ?? nothing to be nervous about.

Prepere well with all you docs. and go for it

Maybe it's because I'm Italian...but 12:30 is still morning for me! I would try not to take that info for 100% accurate...maybe if you had a 3:30 pm appointment, that would be a little more "suspicious" since I think they might close at 4...Anyways, you got this far, you have all the docs, nothing to fear! Good luck... I will be in your shoes in 2 weeks!

I got my EAD card in the mail today. I guess when u start venting in here u see good results in the next couple of days

My birthdate information is incorrect though, they put june 28 instead of june 26. i wonder if that should matter... Anywhoo, I am still glad that I finally got it. I'll give it 2 more weeks and then I'm gonna start whining about my GC here and find out if I get in the mail shortly after that. Teeheehee...

ViVi6 and Marcin. Thanks for your support. I guess its just natural/normal to be nervous. I'm always nervous even during a job interview anyways and it goes away as soon as you start the process. I will be praying for each one of us to have a nice smooth seamless interview.

Hello guys,

We are AOS march fillers as well.

I'm completely anxious about all this process because I want to start to work and be able to travel and see my family in my country.

On may 28th they touched my case in the website.

Today I received a mail about my I-131 travel document application that worried me more than I'm actually worried.

It says,

After review we have decided to treat the appeal filed in the above case (I131) as a Service motion to reopen or

Service motion to reconsider. You will receive a notice under separate cover once all action has been completed.

Does anyone know what it means??

I'm not sure, by appeal I'm assuming there was an RFE on your case previously?

You should open a new topic on this forum and some of the longer-term/ admins may have more info for you. Make sure to give as much info. about what has occured so far with your case as possible. If there was an RFE, for what, and what was sent to correct it.

They may advise you to open an info-pass appt., not sure.

Hey everyone!

I got my EAD card in the mail today: YAY! And tomorrow is the big day: our AOS interview! I'm starting to get nervous and hoping that everything will go smoothly.

And of course, I JUST realized that the appointment letter asks us to bring my husband's birth certificate which we don't have. (Didn't have to put it in the AOS package actually!)

I mean we have his certificate of birth abroad along with his Report of Birth Abroad of a Citizen of the United States of America. So I'm hoping that that'll be enough. I also have some sort of a copy of his French birth certificate (we have two documents in France: the actual certificate and an extract of it - I have a copy of the extract).

Anywaaaays. Hoping that tomorrow will be fine and will be over soon!
