Mine too =) High five!

Can you legally work with the EAD approval notice or must we wait another 30 effing days for the card to arrive in the mail before job searching?

This is especially touchy because my husband actually had a job offer dependent on the EAD, but I guess that's not really on the table anymore. I guess I don't really give a flying fox about the approval notice if it doesn't mean anything.

Anyway, forgive my snarky attitude but the "novelty" of immigration wore off a long freakin' time ago!

:unsure: I know Lena was heading out today to search for work! She says it will take a few days to find job anyways. (Poor WOMAN WAS GOING STIR CRAZY i THINK!!)

Hey Emmaline, glad to see you case moved along too! I'm waiting for my EAD card too and it looks like I should be a week behind you at the most. Only problem is status updates and such have not been working for me so I'm wondering how I will find out! I guess they also send notices in the mail, right? That's all I rely on right now. Good luck with the interview too!

I found these tips somewhere on this website and I just wanted to share them with everyone who is sweating bullets over their upcoming interview.

Thanks Icepeck! I need to prep my husband for sure...we have a 9 am appointmant so that looks good. Only problem is he is very bad at remembering dates so I need to make sure he doesn't trip! And also his Italian is so funny...I can't wait to hear him say my parents'names if they ask! :rofl: Oh well, poor guy has been working like crazy to support the both of us so I don't want to stress him out before a week or so before the interview. I think I am more curious that anxious at this point...it will be interesting!

Good luck to all with interviews and approvals...come on march filers, we're almost there! :dance:

We have a touch on EAD for today. This is good news as we have only had one of the three notifications that USCIS seems to do on AOS. Maybe we will get EAD before AOS.

Our VisaJourney started July 2009 when I mailed the 129-F

Fiance here February 2010, married 10 days later

GC received in the mail 10-Jun-2010

Able to apply to remove conditions 12-Feb-2012

DUHHHHH I just realized SLC meant Salt Lake City!! I am getting old obviously!! :rofl:

It's alright :D I have a hard time remembering airport codes for big cities too. Chicago?? Beats me! All I know is SAN is San Diego, the most beautiful place in the world. The place where every time I get on the plane to come back home I have a flight attendant reprimand me for not wearing a rash guard. ;)

Ok, so all of us that are waiting for EAD to arrive noticed I'm sure weird timelines to actually get the card in mail.

For example, according to timeline on this website, some people get their cards in 20 days and some in 4 days.

I know that latest trend is to get 3 emails/txts but what gives ?

Needless to say we all should get ours in 4 days LOL :-)

btw, its been pleasure to have our own march filers topic on this forum. Very helpfull and glad to know we are not alone

Ok, so all of us that are waiting for EAD to arrive noticed I'm sure weird timelines to actually get the card in mail.

For example, according to timeline on this website, some people get their cards in 20 days and some in 4 days.

I feel 20 days is ridiculous, at that point we might even get the GC first!anyways...mine hasn't been approved yet, next week is when VJ estimated it, but since the website and the updates don't work for me I will have to wait for a notice in the mail- unless something suddenly changes.

:rofl: that's funny. Yeah, San Diego is a nice place to be, can't complain about that...One thing I honestly don't miss about my hometown in Northern Italy is the cold and the snow in the winter. Now I basically wear flip flops 10 months out of 12 B-)

It's friday ..and This morning I realized that Monday will mark 60 days since I sent out his AOS package.

To date, no interview letter or EAD/AP approval.

I'm happy to see May go ...and start June. I'm really hoping that the beginning of June will bring lots of fun surprises!!

Biggest reason I want him to get his EAD ....so he can drive legally!!!!! Poor thing can't even drive and I make him so paranoid driving bc he doesn't have his license yet.

But really ....just some action would be nice.

At this point I'm also realizing that if we do get an interview letter - Our interview probably wont be till July .. Which really sucks.

Other than that, I'm thrilled cause I have 3 days off!!!!!! :dance::thumbs:

And I'm optimistic because so many of March filers either got their Greencard ALREADY or have their EAD's approved!!!

Have a fabulous weekend everyone ...and to those new to America ...Enjoy your first official bbq weekend of the summer ..Assuming that most of March filers possibly got here after September/October of 2009! lol. ;)
