Done with my biometrics yesterday..!!

Also my husband is leaving this June 6th to work in Philippines again..

My problem is what uf I get my interview letter and he wasn't here????

And his job is permanently, I mean he can only travel back here to US every once in a year..!!

Ugh!! But since they transfer my case to CSC im hoping I won't have interview anymore..

WIsh me luck all VJ's filers..

The interview can be rescheduled. I'm not sure of the legality of leaving 1 year at a time on a conditional greencard though, might want to check on that.

Touch today on AOS. After about 14 days. oooooooh. The suspense is killing me.

So no touch, no updates, nothing in the mail - since bio and nothing on the AP since it was actually received by them.

Case wasn't transferred either.

So it kind of sucks ...At this point i'm just hoping some action happens in the next week since last time I checked his EAD and AP should be approved in the next week or two.

But exciting to see that March filers are getting lots of action!!

Hi..i didn't mention that this coming July is my wedding anniversary.

It takes a bit longer for us to file the papers but of what I know after 2 years of marriage they gonna give u a 10 yrs GC..Is that right? Tnx for reply..

I stopped relying on USCIS website the day the interviewed notice showed up in the mail...I guess it doesn't work on some cases, I'm sure not all the people who handled them scan the barcode and stuff..lazy...

I've seen people from Cali getting transferred to CSC-- i think it depends on your case not really on the place you live. it could also be random, with USCIS it's hard to guess and even IO might not be very informed many times. all I can hope for is no RFE for medical records and a fair, quick process

Howdy,

I'm late to enter this thread, but I sent my AOS package on March 1. As of yesterday I received my EAD and as of today I got my 797 stating that my application for permanent residence has been approved (AOS was sent to the CSC on April 14, no interview) and that my green card will be arriving within three weeks.

Yeah, in that post I was responding to somebody saying that only people who don't live in Cali get transferred-- but I have seen people from Cali getting transferred too so that can't be the rule. I don't think it depends on how easy the case is as mine is very simple (I think) but who knows!

i successfully made a walk-in biometrics today at dallas fort worth, and today my I-485 and I-765 got touch,,,,,,just 2 minutes ago i received a text message from USCIS that my EAD is approved and a new card production ordered,,, i am so happy,,, i am now allowed to work,,, wooooo hooooo,,,, work here i come,,,,

I had my biometrics there this Monday and I didn't know they allowed walk in..

If I would have known, i'll do the walk in too..

But anyway, its done already and they updated it today hope to get my EAD too and AP soon..

We received THE letter in the mail yesterday. "Welcome to the United States". Our permanent resident application is approved. There was no text, email, or update to status on USCIS; so a happy surprise. I was checking the mail hoping for the EAD to arrive, and got this instead. I wonder which one we'll receive first haha.

Looks like our journey is over, no more Immigration for 2 years until removal of conditional status.

I really can't complain though, our process was simple and speedy, and $0 spent on lawyers thanks to VisaJourney.

Thank you CSC for fast approvals on K1 and g/c.
