Correction:

Email and text message: notification of I-131 (AP) approval; Current Status: Approval notice sent.

Email and text message: notification of I-I765 (EAD) approval; Current Status: Card production ordered.

Hey JR & Helen,

Congrats on everything along your journey. Looks like you just need to receive your GC (any day soon) and then you can take a rest from the whole USCIS thing. I've moved behind you in the process because I waited a couple months before getting married. Xiyun and I went the formal wedding route so we needed more time for planning, invitations, responses, etc. Now I'm hopeful to see my case transferred to CSC so that I can just see the rest of the documents appear in my mailbox. Best of luck to both of you. Maybe some day I'll see you at the Beijing airport!

We wish you and Xiyun the best, and a speedy process for the green card!

Grats JRSmooth!!!! :D

We got some good news today too! Two e-mails confirming that my EAD card is in production and that the travel documents for my AP had been approved... Well the AP is approved too late (we were supposed to leave last week, since it arrived late we had to cancel our trip...), but I don't care because I'm SO relieved to get the EAD!!!

Now I'm ready for some job hunting.

PS: I had 2 touches last friday. One on the AOS and the other on the petition for relative, and today, all of my cases were touched again. Things are moving along!!! YAY!

Crossing my fingers for all my fellow March filers!

Our Timeline:

08/01/2009: Both Marc and I arrived in Seattle, WA. (Anaïs on a J-1 Visa until March 20th, 2010.)

08/13/2009: We arrived in Berkeley, CA and moved in our current apartment.

09/25/2009: After 5 years together, we get married!

02/07/2010: Marc gets a big promotion and his salary is doubled: this is too big of a career opportunity for him: we decide to stay in the US.

02/08/2010: We start to work on getting a AOS application together.

03/07/2010: We send the application via USPS to the Chicago Lockbox.

03/10/2010: Application delivered in Chicago, 1:50 pm.

03/17/2010: Series of USCIS notification of acceptance e-mails received.

03/18/2010: Checks cashed this morning.

03/22/2010: All 4 NOA-1 received!

04/12/2010: Biometrics appointment at 12.00 at the Oakland, CA support center today. Everything went smoothly.

04/30/2010: Interview letter received in the mail! We had had no news and no touch since April 13th so the letter was unexpected!

05/14/2010: AOS and I-130 touched.

05/17/2010: AOS, I-130, I-131, and I-765 touched.

05/17/2010: Two confirmation e-mails received: AP and EAP approved!

06/01/2010: EAD card received today in the mail!

06/02/2010: AOS interview in San Francisco.

06/04/2010: AOS confirmation e-mail received!! Card production ordered!
