Hehe my thoughts exactly, although you are a little ahead of me as far when you filed. So my case is under yours in the pile;) I would think my case is fairly easy, and most of the info for AOS where EXACTLY the same as the K1. How many times do they want to read where i lived in the last 10 years, who my last employers were, if I was convicted, if I'm a drug trafficker, etc.? You would assume it would get processed at the same "speed" as everybody else's. Maybe it depends on the local ASC too. But I stopped looking for a logic in USCIS or American bureaucracy in general (not that the Italian one is better :lol: ).

You have to remember some people are adjusting from work or other visas that have been here a significant amount of time. I'm sure they love K1 adjustments because all the info. is fresh.

We just got notification "The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office."

It was transfered just days ago to CSC. Does this mean an interview now at our local USCIS office?

When my husband starts getting frustrated with the process, I always tell my husband I don't think it would be any better if we were doing this in Italy... :blink: Although, I mention we could give it a try and I'm sure I would learn Italian so much faster that way. :innocent:

'Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred. The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office'

so I am hoping that it means it is pending at CSC. I called the USCIS today but they didn't really shed any light on where the case is.

Has anyone else received a notification like this?

Hi, i just received interview letter today for my AOS. I didn't include the I-693 on my AOS application, i just mailed it with DS-3025. I did not get any RFE. But, my question is.. on the letter it says i have to bring a complete medical examination (I-693) and vaccination supplement in a sealed envelope (unless already submitted)

So, it means i still need to go to a civil surgeon for my I-693 to bring for my interview??
